How to Get There

Myrtle Park is situated in the heart of Bingley and is easy to get to by a number of transport networks. See maps below.

On Friday the 1st of September there is a planned Northern Rail strike which may affect those who have arranged to get the train home.

Services will run on a reduced timetable throughout the day. The last trains from Bingley on Friday 1st are as follows:

Even though this is something which is entirely out of our control, we have tried to put things in place to help those who were planning on using the trains:

Park and Ride

Park and ride car parking places are being extended and extra buses will be provided. For more info on park and ride click here

Extra taxi pick up points for pre booked taxis, will be on Bradford Road outside Beckfoot School for people going towards Bradford and Leeds, and on Keighley Road outside All Saints Parish Church, for people going towards Keighley and Skipton.
The designated taxi rank will be located on Wellington Street outside Bingley Railway Station.

Pick up points

If you are getting picked up then arrange for this to be a short walk out of the town centre as roads in Bingley will be closed after the event from approx. 9.30pm until 10.30pm for safety reasons.

Car Sharing

There is also the option of car sharing with Freewheelers and GoCarShare offering this service.

On foot

Bingley is a small town and Myrtle Park is easy to find. Simply follow the signs for Myrtle Park. If in doubt just follow the crowds or ask someone, they will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Bingley Railway station is only 5 minutes walk away from the venue and is located on the main Bradford/Leeds/Skipton lines.

By Car

Follow signs for ‘Park & Ride’. Signs for ‘Park & Ride’ can be picked up on the main highways approaching Bingley.

Park and Ride

Park and Ride buses will operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Bradford & Bingley Car Park, Croft Road, off Bradford Road at Crossflatts to the bus stop in the centre of Bingley.
This will also be the pick up point for buses back to the Park & Ride car park.

Car Parking in Bingley

There is limited parking around the venue. We recommend you use the secure Park & Ride facility operated by BML. Please see ‘Park & Ride’ for details.

Road closures and temporary traffic orders will be in force. Restricted parking will be in operation in all areas in the vicinity of the Park. Traffic Services will be operating in Bingley throughout the weekend and fines will be issued to vehicles without the appropriate parking permits. This event takes place in a residential area so please respect the local community who will need to get to their homes throughout the weekend.

Car Parking for Disabled Customers

Car parking is available for disabled badge holders at Myrtle Park Primary School off Sycamore Avenue/Beech Street. Parking is limited and available on a first come first served basis.

Car Sharing
