Here at Bingley Music Live we take the comfort of our visitors very seriously and we are working hard to ensure that everyone who attends the festival has an enjoyable experience.

Our welfare area is open each day from when the gates open until 15 minutes after the last act leaves the stage. DBS certified Welfare Staff will be on hand to assist you at the Welfare tent where the following services will be available:

  • Nappy Change Area
  • Dedicated children’s toilet
  • Changing Places toilet (for people who cannot use standard accessible toilets)
  • Sun lotion
  • Lost children service

We would ask that only people who are in need of these services use the welfare area so that they remain available at all times for those with a genuine need.

We welcome party people of all ages and believe in starting them young! BML is a great destination for all families wanting to share that festival experience. Therefore there is no minimum age for entry, we do however suggest that under 16’s are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and are kept away from the high density area directly in front of the stage.

Infants (under 3 years old) are allowed in free. No ticket is required but if your child is a borderline age e.g. between 2 and 3 ID of your child is essential. A passport or birth certificate is considered suitable. We regret that we are unable to extend free admission to children above this age but this is simply because of our limited licensed occupant capacity.

We recommend you collect a child ID wristband from the welfare staff or our volunteers for the safety of your child. The wristband has space for you to write the parents name and phone number on the inside.

We request in our agreements with artists that they refrain from using inappropriate language. However, performances may feature material and language unsuitable for young children that we are unable to predict and classify due to the nature of live performance.

We suggest pushchairs/buggies or babies/young children are not positioned in the area directly in front of the stage due to the larger crowd densities and the potential of crowd surges in this area.

If you are attending with family and friends pick an agreed meeting point preferably away from the crowds and stick to it in case you become separated. If you lose a child, report immediately to a festival steward.

Please be aware that repeated and prolonged exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage.

A toilet specifically for families with young children is available at the Welfare tent near the entrance gates. Please respect that this toilet is for young children only.

The site in Myrtle Park offers plenty of scope for quiet moments, relaxing under the shade of a tree when little ones need a nap and there are a host of specially organised kids activities in the kids play area to keep them occupied.

Nappy changing and breast feeding

For your convenience and comfort nappy changing and breast feeding facilities are available at the welfare tent near to the entrance gates.

Child Toilet

Also available at this location is a toilet specifically for the use of families with young children who may be potty training. Please respect that this toilet is for young children only.

Lost & Found

Please do not bring irreplaceable items of value to Bingley Music Live. Be sensible and keep your cash, phone, cards, camera and keys close about your person preferably in a zipped pocket or bag. Bradford Council or security cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items that cannot be recovered. Tag your keys with your phone number and a friend’s address. We find many keys after the event and marking them means we can get them back to you. If you find anything whilst at the festival please hand it in to your nearest steward and we will try and reunite the item with its owner. All property either found or turned in will be handed to the Welfare Point on site who will log the items on collection. They will then be held centrally until two weeks after the event.

The Local Residents

We are very privileged to be able to use Myrtle Park. It’s the perfect location for our festival and we would like to be able to come back year after year. To do this we need your help keeping the local community, businesses and residents happy. Please ensure you leave the site quietly. Observe the parking restrictions around the site and do not park in the resident parking areas. Apart from causing an annoyance to the residents you will be issued with a parking fine and may be towed away. It’s much better to use the Park & Ride

Please be mindful of your litter and use the bins provided on site.
